There is a German proverb often used in financial analysis that says “trees don’t grow to the sky”. In other words, just because something is rising in price doesn’t mean it will keep doing it. That’s worth remembering right now in Ireland.

At the time of the property crash, it was said prices would never again rise as high. But, in the current market, we’re not far from that now.
