Louis Walsh has reportedly been offered half-a-million pounds to join this year's I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

Why would a man with an estimated net worth of anywhere between £20 million and £97m, depending on which source one chooses to believe, want to sit in a muddy puddle, eating live witchetty bugs, and having rats crawl over him, all for the dubious honour of being crowned King of the Jungle? He hardly needs the cash.

I'm A Celebrity is for the dodgy and the desperate; the has beens and never weres; those at the twilight end of their careers, or whose flagging profiles are in need of a lift, and Louis is none of the above.
