Industrial strife could bring down Government yet
Unless it gets lucky over the coming days, this Government is headed for serious trouble which could prove terminal.
If people cannot travel about to get on with their lives, and if our troubled health services are bedevilled by work stoppages, then public patience will soon be in very short supply.
It takes no great imagination to see the Bus Éireann dispute escalating into something which could in a trice become a national transport strike. Where the regional bus service shares facilities with Dublin Bus and Irish Rail, pickets may very well not be passed by the colleagues.
