It was a blink-and-you’d-miss-it moment that came amid one of the most extraordinary days in Britain’s history. But just before the committal service for Queen Elizabeth in St George’s Chapel at Windsor, Prince William (40) gave the first inkling that relations were improving with Prince Harry.

As his wife Kate (40) went to sit down in the pew with their children, the heir to the throne told her to “let them go first”, motioning at Harry and Meghan.
