Adventurous Irish can banish 'vulnerable' England - Elsom

Peter Bills

Ireland could end up getting great benefit even out of so comprehensive a defeat as the Paris loss, ex-Leinster man Rocky Elsom said last night.

Elsom, the tough Australian back-row forward, took time off from his preparations for the Brumbies' Super 14 match in Cape Town last night to assess England's game against Ireland at Twickenham today.

The Heineken Cup winner called unbeaten England "vulnerable" and said Declan Kidney's side should by no means be downhearted at their defeat by France.
