Dubs have depth and tactical flexibility to unlock mass defences
They haven't gone away you know. When they were down to 14 men against a Donegal side that were winning primary possession and creating chances, it would have been easy for the Dubs to lie down and lose last Saturday night.
No-one would have blamed them. The sending off of Kevin McManamon would have been enough of an excuse, they could point to their injury list, the missing Vincents players, no Cluxton and sure isn't it only the league. Who cares?
Turns out Dublin cared. They were excellent in that second half, particularly when they went a man down and were forced to play a counter-attacking game.
