Life as the future king is not all a fairytale, as William is finding out

SO, AT the tender age of 31, Prince William is to say goodbye to his military career and take a year out to "find himself" and spend more time with his wife, Kate, and baby son, George.

There will be no more dangerous RAF search and rescue helicopter missions in rugged mountainous Welsh terrain for the world's most popular prince, below, as he moves a step closer to joining the family firm full-time and, ultimately, assuming the British throne.

Life as a future king is not all a fairytale, I am sure. Yes, it brings a five-star existence with servants, money, yachts, luxury travel, a beautiful princess and castles to live in.
