RATHER like the surreal landscape of Alice in Wonderland, there are so many astonishing things going on in Irish politics that the utterly incredible now looks to be entirely normal.
In any functioning democracy it would be astonishing that in a week where a government gambles an entire year's tax revenue on the rescuing of a failed bank, the legislative assembly of that state would not be consulted.
But in the political Blunderland poor Biffo has built, though June, July, and August have come and gone, as we move well into September the Dail is still in a gentle little coma.
