Well, ain't that a nice can of worms?

Hollywood apathy: Just because Weinstein didn't drag any of his alleged victims down an alleyway doesn't change the fact that the people he had sex with were in a powerless position

When the news broke that infamous movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was a serial predator, my only surprise was that people were surprised.

After all, fans of the brilliant 30 Rock will remember the now heavily replayed scene where one of the cast made a joke about the producer's sexual habits. But even more than that, anyone who remembers the criminally underrated comedy about Hollywood, Action, starring Jay Mohr, will also recall a character who was obviously based on Weinstein.

Hell, if a viewer in Ireland in the early 2000s could get the obvious references to Weinstein, are we seriously meant to believe that his predatory behaviour was really the big secret people keep referring to?
