Sure it makes you proud to be Irish

I doubt that anyone who has been following the story of Marie Fleming and her partner Tom Curran could fail to be moved by their plight.

But the news that Curran was detained and searched in Heathrow when he visited London for an 'Exit' conference on Sunday is another example of how the law is often there when you don't need it.

Nobody who has seen Fleming discuss her plight can fail to have been moved by her strength and clarity of thought but most all, her visible distress.
