In a crime-filled world, mugging of disabled man is a new low

I've never believed in the death penalty, for a variety of reasons.

Apart from my own personal revulsion at the state engaging in judicial murder, there are other, more pertinent reasons to oppose it.

The possibility of a miscarriage of justice looms large, for instance.
