Ian O'Doherty: The natives are revolting. . .
Being a dashing columnist who spends literally several minutes every day nicking stories off other people and then passing them off as my own can be quite a tricky business. It also runs the risk of offending people.
And the people I have been mostly offending are, apparently, from Cork.
Writing about Onan The Corkonian, aka Neil Prendeville, I seemed to have annoyed the locals, with one reader saying: "Your column on Neil Prendeville today ... is a disgrace and is typical of the attitude of Dublin people/jackeens/West Brits towards Cork people. I more than likely won't get an apology or even a reply but this is what I expect from your sort."
