Ian O'Doherty: It's not me -- it's the weather

As I wrote yesterday, the great climate change debate has become increasingly poisoned -- and it all seems to be coming from one side.

We've already seen the Green movement appropriate the language of the Holocaust by labelling anyone who disagrees with them as a 'denier' and then Al Gore came out over the weekend and likened sceptics to racists, which, I'm sure you'll agree, was a pretty low dig that just made the increasingly deranged and laughable Gore look like a complete tool.

Indeed, to add to Gore's obvious frustration that his favourite fairytale is losing credibility with the public, it now emerges that CERN, the scientific project that you may remember from the Large Hadron Collider, have declared that it is the sun, and not mankind, that decides earth's climate.
