Ian O'Doherty: Bullies? Nice to see them get their due
As you probably saw, the other day, a woman called Eileen Nestor had been the subject of a vile campaign of hate mail which turned out to have been orchestrated by her former friend Nora Connolly.
The Galway native started receiving the unattributed missives when she secured a new job, and while she initially dismissed the first nasty letter as a joke – a remarkably level-headed response, it has to be said – the diatribes continued, including such frankly odd accusations as the one that said she was nothing but: "A low-class worker." Who talks like that?
And, having been brought before the courts, Connolly was ordered to pay Nestor €37,000.
