Are Irish politicians stupid, or do they just think we are?

Wow. They still don't get it, do they? It almost appears that there are now two kinds of people in this world - the ones who accept that Donald Trump is US president (whether they voted for him or not), and the people who simply refuse to accept that fact (and I'm pretty confident in asserting that none of the latter group voted for him).

It's not just crazy Yanks, either, who like to scream "not my president" while conveniently forgetting that that particular battle cry was also used by many of Obama's more visceral critics when he was first elected.

Of course, it didn't matter whether you voted for Obama or not. It didn't even matter if you never voted at all.
