It was a week of old men in suits, embarrassing themselves. No, we speak not of Alan Shatter, reading his poetry on Newstalk. Nor do we include George 'Throbbing' Hook, taking to the airwaves to read from the 'erotic novel' what he wrote.

The sun is shining, the day is bright. Need to meet real people, and go fly a kite.

That's an excerpt from one of Alan Shatter's poems. No kidding. I'd review it in verse if I could think of a word that rhymes with kite.
