Keane and Vieira -- Best Of Enemies (ITV4)I see Roy Keane differently these days. When his head is at a certain angle, he is the identical twin of David Byrne, the singer and the driving force of Talking Heads. And when he moves just a shade in another direction, he becomes my friend Liam Mackey, football correspondent of The Examiner.

There are times too, when he is just Roy Keane, and that can be even more disconcerting, at least to the general viewer who might have found himself looking at Keane and Vieira, Best of Enemies -- and yes, there is such a thing as a general viewer, who might be defined for these purposes as the sort of person who doesn't know that it was Roy Keane who spoke of the "prawn sandwich" brigade.

In fact, such a person actually appeared on television as a contestant in the first episode of Division, the quiz programme hosted by Anne Doyle. And unacceptable as it may be that people are walking around not knowing such things, it tells us that some viewers may actually have been seeing Roy Keane and indeed Patrick Vieira speaking at length for the first time last Tuesday night on ITV4 (repeated on RTE2 next Wednesday).
