David Quinn: Denying a child's right to have a mother has become state policy
Question; does the 'right' of two men to have a child trump the child's natural right to be raised by a mother?
It is clear that in the mind of virtually our entire political establishment, including Enda Kenny and Micheal Martin, the answer is an emphatic 'yes'. The child doesn't have a right to a mother at all. It is to be eliminated, erased, gone.
Now, it is one thing for a child to be denied a mother through circumstance. Nothing can be done about that. The mother might die, for example.
