Finally, our property nightmare is near an end

IT has been a long time coming, but Ireland's property nightmare might be finally nearing an end.

The country has experienced the first nationwide rise in annual prices since the peak of the boom, back in 2008.

Figures from the Central Statistics Office show that prices rose by 1.2pc from June of last year to June of this year.
