A corner in sight, but obstacles line the path before it's turned
ONE hesitates to compare the household income survey by the League of Credit Unions to a flashbulb, but last week's did illuminate the scene at a moment in time and provided a useful image in the encircling gloom.
This was the finding that disposable income had stabilised – for the first time since the survey began 2011. But it was not so much the finding, as the explanation, which switched on a light.
According to the league, households are adjusting to the depression.
