I'M not sure exactly what it is that has me the way I am. It could be PCT. Pre-Christmas tension. It's an awful dose but I usually only start to prepare for Christmas about half an hour before the dinner on Christmas Day. PCT is contagious and can be picked up from other people. Preparers are the worst for passing on. They plan for Christmas all year round. Some people bake the Christmas cake in July "to give the ingredients a chance to settle" and there are those planners who boil the plum pudding in August "to allow the flavour to mature".

I tried it once.
