Maybe she knew what was in store for her. That this was death row. Her last holding pen from where she would be taken on the appointed date and you know the rest yourself. The silly turkey flew up over the barbed wire to the top of a tree near the enclosure and refused to come down. If you ever get into rearing turkeys never put the run near a tree.
