U2 were on the altar and the congregation of mourners had a host of household names.
But among all the friends DJ Tony Fenton held dear, the most unlikely of all, at least on the surface, was the priest who presided over his funeral.
Fr Brendan Kealy, a curate based in Athy, Co Kildare, was chief celebrant at the requiem mass at The Church of the Sacred Heart in Donnybrook, Dublin, last Wednesday for the DJ, who died of cancer after a four-year battle.
