If we had bacon we could have bacon and eggs . . . if we had eggs. That's about the level of discourse we're getting from our main negotiators -- the Government -- with Europe and particularly Germany at the present time.
It's all harmless shapes and shadow boxing, meaningless waffle about how we definitely will get out of the present bailout and we won't need another one and we'll be back in the markets properly in no time at all.
