Talented tycoon far from 'done' with commerce

The future

SEAN Quinn's immediate focus isn't on the new businesses he might start -- it's on helping his children to win back the old businesses from Anglo Irish Bank, sources say.

A landmark court case is expected to kick off next year, where the five children will claim that Anglo had no right to seize the Quinn Group from them because the bank's €2.9bn loans are invalid.

The case could take the best part of a year -- longer even -- to work itself out, by which time Mr Quinn will be free of his bankruptcy shackles and able to re-enter business life again.
