Stay-at-home dads need to be heard amid tumult of the 'Mommy Wars'

Are you 'leaning in' or a Cath Kidston-type stay-at-home mum? Nowadays, it's not acceptable to be in any way neutral on the childcare arrangements of others.

Instead, we have somehow got into the habit of arranging ourselves like rival football fans in a nasty slagging match that's been dubbed the 'Mommy Wars'. You have to support one side or the other and, preferably, at the same time be making as much noise as you can.

On one side there is Sheryl Sandberg. She's the chief operating officer of Facebook and mother of two who has garnered zillions of column inches already for her millions in the bank, her productivity and her book, 'Lean In', on how women should conquer the boardroom.
