THE KILLING of the Russian human rights activist Natalya Estemirova drew universal condemnation yesterday, with her colleagues already blaming controversial Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov for the crime.

President Obama met members of Memorial, the organisation for which Ms Estemirova worked, when he visited Moscow last week.
