Sinead Kissane: Like so many before, O'Gara won't get to say goodbye

It was the final stretch of the Corkman's reign as Ireland head coach and Things Were Bad. Ireland had lost two games in the Six Nations. Morale was low. Eddie O'Sullivan decided to promote Ronan O'Gara to role of captain for what would be O'Sullivan's final game in charge. Ireland lost. But it was far from the end of O'Gara in an Ireland jersey.

That was March 2008. And now?

It could be the final stretch of the Corkman's reign as Ireland head coach and Things Are Bad. Ireland have lost two games in the Six Nations. Morale seems low. Declan Kidney has decided to demote O'Gara from the squad to play France. It seems like the end of O'Gara in an Ireland jersey.
