Shatter cannot blinker media to suit his own agenda

The Justice Minister must expect his affairs and decisions to be open for public scrutiny, writes Philip Ryan

JUSTICE Minister Alan Shatter brushes off criticism and controversy with the same disdain that an alfresco diner would an annoying fly trying to land on their salad.

When faced with adversity or disquiet, the wealthy South Dublin politician will simply dismiss uninvited comments on his performance as a publically elected representative.
