Questions for Michael Anderson Danish advisor to the licensing process

QUESTION 1: Why did Andersen initially distance himself from the decision to award the mobile phone licence to O'Brien's ESAT Digifone -- a decision that was taken in his office, along with the civil servants from Lowry's office Brennan and Towey -- stating that he was out of the country and in Sweden at the time?


Why did he not admit that he was at the meeting until the Irish State was forced to produce the airline tickets that proved he was actually in Copenhagen on the day?


Why did it take Andersen nine years to agree to come to the tribunal?
