My Take on the Troika - Orla Barry


"There was a feeling of helplessness when the Troika came, a sense that there was nothing we as ordinary people could do to control the situation.

"It was like we were the bold kids in the schoolyard, and now we were being taught a lesson. The feeling of despair was exacerbated by the fact there was the snow on the ground and public transport had ground to a halt.
