Members paying big price for principles

THERE is no doubt that teachers are being asked to do more with less.

The system has lost a lot of resources, both in terms of staff and money, since the economic crash. Teachers have suffered in their own pockets, too.

Alongside that, schools complain of initiative overload as the minister who wants to be remembered for reform piles one idea on top of another.
