Luke and friends rise to the challenge

Luke Kelly is alive and well and part of a band of four Irishmen taking the 'University Challenge' programme by storm.

Sharing his name with the late great Dubliner, Luke -- along with Tristan Burke, Michael McKenna and Paul Joyce -- reached the semi-final of the BBC quiz show this week in some style. The surnames appear more suitable for a team from NUIG than Manchester but show clearly how big an impact emigration from the west of Ireland has made on the city.
