Lise Hand: No one rains on God's parade
The Procession Manager, Tommy Morris, had a bit of a problem. The front of the parade containing all the priestly poobahs in solemn marching formation was moving a little too slowly -- the back of the parade had yet to leave the RDS Arena.
Tommy surveyed the array of high-powered prelates approaching him at a sedate pace, and called out in his politest loud voice: "Can you step it out, Fathers? Thank you."
The Fathers stepped it out obediently and Tommy wasn't smote by a thunderbolt from on high. But someone had to keep the holy show on the road -- literally.
