Let's just give Monica a break
WE'VE had everything from iPhones to Obama since 1998, but one thing we haven't shaken off is an irrational hatred of Monica Lewinsky.
Monica's broken her silence in a funny and frank Vanity Fair interview but her critics are taking aim at her like it's 1998 – with the aid of social media.
Despite saying that she "deeply regrets" what happened between her and Bill Clinton, she still can't win. Lewinsky also points out the power imbalance between her and the President – but isn't bitter: "Sure, my boss took advantage of me, but I will always remain firm on this point: it was consensual."
