John-Paul McCarthy: Useful advice in FF book of humiliation
Martin should remember that previous generations have recovered from calamity, writes John-Paul McCarthy
MICHEAL Martin belatedly shook off his party's general air of torpor last Thursday when he asked the Taoiseach in the Dail if he accepted the findings of Justice Moriarty.
Then Oireachtas Report captured the Taoiseach's robotic response, involving an assurance that the judge's findings were "very clear" and that these "stand", as if anyone suggested the contrary.
The fact that Martin felt the need to ask the question at all speaks volumes for the Government's attitude towards Denis O'Brien.
