John Drennan: There's something about Lucinda – it may be trouble
Enda Kenny may yet find that his autocratic style has spawned a new opposition
THERE certainly appeared to be something of a farewell to arms surrounding Lucinda Creighton's speech on the Protection of Human Life Bill.
In truth, even if she wanted to stay, Ms Creighton now resembles that cat on a hot tin roof which has lost its balance. The cat might teeter for some time but gravity will still triumph.
It's now the Taoiseach's way or Lucinda's way and unless Enda does the bending you can't defeat political gravity.
