Jody Corcoran: Fine Gael's 'moral superiority' is laid bare for everyone to see

MAYBE now we can disregard what has always been a threadbare notion, that Fine Gael in power would somehow represent a clean sweep of everything that had gone before.

No Fianna Fail minister has ever been registered as a debt defaulter in the pages of Stubbs Gazette, whatever about on the balance sheets of the Irish Nationwide, as the holder of interest-only loans.

This is the Taoiseach's Praetorian Guard then; James Reilly and Phil Hogan, recently revealed to have been enthusiastic players in the boom they now so rail against.
