The bailout exit is a genuine success for the Government, quite likely a 'game-changer' in political if not economic terms. Besides, Michael Noonan almost certainly made the right decision when he opted to jump without a parachute. This gave a little colour to the exaggerated claim that we have regained our sovereignty.
