“Thursday the 26th at quarter past four in the morning.” That was when Gorey man Jack Murphy first fell ill in August.

I put it down to a bug. The rest of Thursday wasn’t too bad. I got my breakfast, lunch and dinner. But Friday afternoon, I started vomiting. By Saturday, I was vomiting and passing blood.”
