Future of food gives us something to chew on

Ever heard of Yuzu fruit? Or snacked on hemp seeds? Breakfasted on seaweed porridge? Maybe you've tried some wasabi flavoured chocolate? If the answer is no, don't feel left out.

These are some of the foods of the future. As we strive for ever healthier lifestyles, more exotic flavours and increasing convenience, the foods that we eat are evolving, too.

The people who make and sell them are gathered en masse in Paris this week for one of the world's biggest food fairs, SIAL, where acres of exhibition space is crammed with the finest culinary offerings from every corner of the world.
