LET'S not get carried away. However, it is still important to acknowledge the significance of the country exiting the bailout.

Three years on from the uncertain days leading up to the arrival of the troika, there are at least grounds to look forward with a bit more optimism.

The bailout exit is just another step on a long road to repairing the national finances. December 15, the official date for the end of the bailout, will come and go. It won't make a difference to the lives of ordinary citizens on December 16.
