Fiach Kelly: Chirpy and Cheap are promising some jam tomorrow
WHERE'S the money gone, where's the money gone? It's not that far, far away, if you were listening to Chirpy Chirpy and Cheap Cheap yesterday.
Chirpy Chirpy -- Taoiseach Brian Cowen in his new guise as a warrior against negative vibes -- and Cheap Cheap, Finance Minister Brian Lenihan, who is still intent on axing billions from the State's coffers, were singing the same tune at the capital spending launch in the Dublin Convention Centre.
Money's too tight to mention, but we're still spending on some major projects and continuing to plan (ie long-finger) more.
