TIME will tell if Michael Lynn, the man who made millions out of 'buckaleiros' – investors who ploughed their money into his failed property investments – has pulled a fast one on the Irish authorities.

Lynn is languishing in a Brazilian prison as he awaits his fate, despite a university degree that earned him an inmate upgrade.

The Federal Supreme Court of Brazil will ultimately decide whether the former solicitor, who left Ireland in 2007 with a suspected €80m mortgage fraud in his wake, will be extradited home to face criminal charges.
