Dave Robbins: Don't let killjoys blow the whistle on a great day out
To the 45,000 or so Irish fans going to Lansdowne Road tomorrow, I have a word of warning: make sure you are in your seats at least 10 minutes before kick-off, and do not linger at the bar at half-time.
In fact, you'd better be there, say, 30 minutes before the off, so you can watch the team warm up and go through their moves. Oh, and stay off the gargle until the team is safely in the ice-bath after the game.
By following these simple rules, you will fulfil the eligibility criteria to become a True Irish Rugby Fan as set down by two of our best rugby writers: Billy Keane of this parish, and Alan Quinlan of the neighbouring one (ie the 'Irish Times').
