Business slow and streets quiet as Cypriots stay home awaiting their fate

STALL owner Stelios Michaelidis holds forth his hand, clutching a bundle of euro notes.

There's a 50, a 20 and a bundle of fivers. All told, around €100.

"You see this?" he asks gruffly. "Normally I would have made €1,000 by now."
