Billy Keane: One book took the grey out of middle-aged sex
Mac Kenna's, our local hardware store, has run out of duck tape. Woulfe's book shop has sold out of '50 Shades of Grey'. These two events are not unconnected.
I have never read '50 Shades of Grey' and have no intention of so doing. I just couldn't face into hundreds of pages of bondage and worse again . . . romance. Anyway, until recently I was sure '50 Shades of Grey' was a hair dye from Just For Men.
This book, which I have never read, has ruined the lives of many poor men who are now worn out after a belated sexual awakening from their partners.
