Billy Keane: Back to the fields of Jonny's dreams as Lions victory stirs up a few old ghosts
ON Saturday morning, before the Lions final match, I went to a place where old ghosts meet. A place known as John Paul II cemetery. Here in Listowel.
There lies John Sexton, Jonathan's grandad. I was sent by young Jonathan to say a prayer at John's grave. Or Daddy John as he was called by all of us.
I told Brenda, Jonathan's nana, that there was a lovely mellow quiet there. Brenda was a little bit sad. "John would have loved to see Jonathan play for the Lions. He'd have loved that."
