All you ever wanted to know about Nama -- but were afraid to ask

Nama is now part of what we Irish are all about -- but how much do we actually know about it? Daniel McConnell answers our questions


It is a government initiative aimed at stabilising and fixing the broken Irish banking system, which became over exposed to property development between 2003 and 2007.

The National Asset Management Agency (Nama) was announced by Finance Minister Brian Lenihan in his emergency Budget in April 2009.
