All change

Finance Minister Michael Noonan defends the €200,000 salaries paid to some NAMA developers. Taoiseach Enda Kenny defends the €168,000 salaries paid to special advisers in contravention of Department of Public Expenditure guidelines. Meanwhile, the nationalised Anglo Irish Bank pays almost €1m in deferred bonuses to six executives.

Overpaid developers, political operatives and bankers bankrupted the State. Now, in the name of recovery, the bankrupted State is using borrowed money to nurture another generation of overpaid developers, political operatives and bankers.

Thank God we had a change of government.
